There are several football pitches of various sizes.  They, and the changing rooms, are used by local clubs from 1 September to 30 April. 

There is a play area for under children under eight years, a ball wall, and a trim trail. 

Cotswold Recreation Ground and Sports Centre
Downs Way, Tilehurst 

The field has one full-sized football pitch which is used from 1 September until 30 April each year by local clubs.

There is a play area for children under eight years, and an area for older children with a slide and rope bridge. There is also a basketball hoop, and a "goal end" where budding footballers can practice their skills.

The sports centre is leased by the parish to West Berkshire Council who, from 1 July 2023, sublet it to Everyone Active under a ten-year contract.  Enquiries about using the sports centre and its facilities should be made on 0118 941 4690.

The changing rooms at the sports centre are used by a local football club which hires the pitch.  Part of the pitch hire fees is paid by the parish to West Berkshire Council for use of the changing rooms.

Turnhams Farm Recreation Ground
Little Heath Road, Tilehurst

The one football pitch and changing rooms have been let to a local club for several years. 

There is a play area for children under eight years, and a skatepark for older children.  A "Big Rig" (outdoor gym equipment) was installed in June 2023.

The Cornwell Centre
Home Croft, Clements Mead 

The area behind the hall has a play area for children under eight years old, plus swings for older children.  There is also a basketball hoop and a large grassed area where children can play.

Hildens Drive Play Area
Foxcombe Drive, Tilehurst

This small play area behind the shops in Hildens Drive is intended for children under 12 years old. The gates (in Foxcombe Drive) are locked at dusk or 4.30pm, whichever is earlier.
