There are several football pitches of various sizes.  They, and the changing rooms, are used by local clubs from 1 September to 30 April. 

There is a play area for under children under eight years, a ball wall, a trim trail and outdoor gym equipment which was installed in February 2025. 

Cotswold Recreation Ground and Sports Centre
Downs Way, Tilehurst 

The field has one full-sized football pitch which is used from 1 September until 30 April each year by local clubs.

There is a play area for children under eight years, and an area for older children with a slide and rope bridge. There is also a "goal end" where budding footballers can practice their skills.  In late 2023, a multi-use games area (MUGA), outdoor gym, social area, and cycle track for younger children were installed.

The sports centre is leased by the parish to West Berkshire Council who, from 1 July 2023, engaged Everyone Active to manage it under a ten-year contract.  In 2025, the disused tennis courts next to the centre were refurbished as a 3G playing surface.  Enquiries about the sports centre's facilities should be made to 0118 941 4690.  

Turnhams Farm Recreation Ground
Little Heath Road, Tilehurst

The one football pitch and changing rooms have been let to a local club for several years. 

There is a play area for children under eight years, and a skatepark for older children.  A "Big Rig" (outdoor gym equipment) was installed in June 2023.

The Cornwell Centre
Home Croft, Clements Mead 

The area behind the hall has a play area for children under eight years old, plus swings for older children.  There is also a basketball hoop and a large grassed area where children can play.

Hildens Drive Play Area
Foxcombe Drive, Tilehurst

This small play area behind the shops on Hildens Drive is intended for children under 12 years old. The gates (on Foxcombe Drive) are locked at dusk or 4.30pm, whichever is earlier.
