Anti-Social Behaviour

Published: 10 June 2020

Over the past few weeks, this Council has received numerous complaints with regards to littering and large gatherings at our recreation grounds.  Whilst we have no powers to enforce dispersal of these gatherings, we are in regular contact with the local police teams and they are fully aware of what has been happening.  All incidents of arson, anti-social behaviour, littering and gatherings which have been reported to this Council are being logged in an attempt to build up a pattern of events, which will assist the police immensely.

If you witness any anti-social behaviour, we would encourage you to report it to the police in the first instance.  The more residents that report an incident to the police whilst it is happening, the more chance the police have of apprehending the perpetrators.
