Anti-Social Behaviour

Published: 04 March 2021

In the past this Council has received numerous complaints in regard to large gatherings and anti-social behaviour at our recreation grounds.  Whilst we have no powers to enforce dispersal of these gatherings, we are in regular contact with the local police teams and they are fully aware of what has been happening.  All incidents of arson, anti-social behaviour, littering and gathering which have been reported to this Council are being logged in an attempt to build up a pattern of events which will assist the police immensely.

If you witness any anti-social behaviour, we would encourage you to report it to the police in the first instance, while the perpetrators are still in the area.  The more residents who report an incident to the police whilst it is taking place, the higher the chance the police have of apprehending the culprits.
