Shaw House, Newbury - open days

From 11.00am to 4.00pm on Sunday 1 and Monday 2 May, Shaw House is holding its annual Open Days and entrance to the house, exhibitions and café will be free. There will also be the opportunity for visitors to access areas which are not normally open to the public, including the “Forbidden Corridor” on the second floor and the basement tunnel running the length of the house.

The exhibition rooms, the historic costume exhibition “Dressed for Shaw”, and the English Civil War arms and armoury exhibition “Dressed for Battle” will also be open to the public.
