Disruption to rail services
Published: 17 November 2022
On Saturday 19 and Monday 21 November, RMT members at Network Rail’s signalling centre near Didcot Parkway will be on strike. This is part of the network which controls all signalling between London Paddington, the Cotswolds, south Wales, and the west and south west of England, so there will be a reduced number of services, starting later and finishing earlier.
There is also likely to be disruption to services on Sunday 20 November, and trains will start later than usual with some morning services cancelled on Tuesday 22 November.
The following weekend, on Saturday 26 November, members of Aslef are taking strike action which will affect GWR and other train companies. As a result, an extremely limited service with later start and earlier finish times will be in operation on some routes.
Further information is available on the GWR web site.
