Discounted bus fares - scheme extended

The low bus fare scheme has been extended from the end of March to the end of June 2023.  During this time, single journeys will be capped at £2.00, return journeys will cost no more than £4.00.

Until 31 March, single fares to Reading and around the region will cost only £2.00 on Reading Buses, Thames Valley Buses, Green Line 702/703, Newbury & District, Arriva, Oxford Bus Company and Thames Travel networks (with a few exceptions).

The ticket is available on the Reading Buses app or from the driver on any bus, and the price is the same whether paying on the app or by cash.
