Bus fares and service update

The national £2.00 single fare cap scheme has been extended until 31 October 2023, after which the cap will rise to £2.50 until 30 November 2024. A list of participating operators in West Berkshire can be found on West Berkshire Council’s web site

The government has also recently launched its new Take the Bus campaign to encourage people aged 66+ years and disabled people who are eligible for a concessionary pass to use the free bus travel available to them
