West Berkshire Council contact information

Following the introduction of a new phone system, West Berkshire Council has changed the out-of-hours number to call in an emergency.

The new number is 01635 551111.

This is the same as the daytime council number, but the out of hours number has options to press to take you to the appropriate out of hours contact centres.

To allow time for the transition both numbers will currently work until Sunday 15 September. From Monday 16 September, the new number must be used.

The information about who to call and what constitutes an emergency in particular out of hours is on WBC’s website Reporting an Emergency, noting that if it is not an emergency but needs the Council's attention the next working day then please report it online.
