WBC draft Waste Management Strategy

Key themes in WBC’s draft Waste Management Strategy 2025-2032 include:

Reducing waste and boosting recycling
Improving the look of streets and town/village centres
Improving sustainable waste practices

Some of the actions under review are:

Reducing black bin collection frequency to every three weeks
Reviewing household waste containers
Expanding recycling
Stepping up efforts to tackle littering and fly-tipping

Feedback is currently being sought on the draft Waste Management Strategy, and the survey is available online. It should take around 15 minutes to complete, and the deadline is midnight on Wednesday 6 November.
