Pension credit drop-in session

From 1.00pm to 3.00pm on Monday 2 December, West Berkshire Council (WBC) is running a drop-in session in Theale Library to help people find out if they are eligible for pension credit benefit, which could help with winter fuel payments.

Pension credit is separate from the State Pension and, on average, is worth over £3,900 per year. Anyone aged 66 years or older may be eligible.

Representatives of the Council’s Revenue and Benefits and Community Engagement teams will be present to advise, together with Citizens Advice, Community Support, the Fire Service, and Berkshire Department for Work and Pensions. One to one support sessions will be provided by the Libraries Digital Services Officer.
