Possible Reading boundary change

Reading Borough Council (RBC) is formally to ask the government for a change to Reading’s boundary so that western parishes become part of greater Reading.

The wards potentially affected are Tilehurst and Purley, Tilehurst Birch Copse, Tilehurst South and Holybrook, Theale and Pangbourne.

During September, RBC held drop-in events in the local community to enable residents to find out more about local government reorganisation and ask questions. 

Representatives from RBC and West Berkshire Council will attend Holybrook Parish Council's meeting at 7.30pm on Monday 13 October.
