"Greater Reading" proposal

Councillors Jeff Brooks, Leader of West Berkshire Council, and Justin Pemberton, Executive Member for Community Engagement, Economic Development and Regeneration and Devolution and Local Government Reorganisation, will be attending parish council meetings to discuss the “Greater Reading” proposal put forward by Reading Borough Council.

The councillors will be attending meetings as follows:

• Purley on Thames – 7.30pm, Monday 29 September
• Tidmarsh with Sulham – 7.30pm, Thursday 2 October
• Holybrook - 7.30pm, Monday 13 October (joint meeting with West Berkshire and Reading Borough Councils)

A meeting is yet to be arranged with Tilehurst Parish Council, the date of the meeting in Theale is to be confirmed.
