Proposed changes to parking restrictions

A public consultation on proposed changes to parking restrictions is open until Thursday 18 December. The Traffic Regulation Order will cover changes to on-street parking restrictions in Tilehurst, Theale and Purley on Thames as well as Thatcham, Padworth, Newbury, Stratfield Mortimer, Beenham, Aldermaston, Hungerford, Greenham and Chieveley.

The changes are intended to improve road safety and accessibility, while discouraging inconsiderate parking near junctions, and are proposed in response to requests from residents.
