West Berkshire Council's budget for 2026/26

As part of its budget-setting cycle, West Berkshire Council (WBC) is inviting residents to take part in a consultation, which is open until midday on Monday 12 January 2026.

Views are sought on how services could be funded and prioritised as well as on two specific proposals:

• extending and increasing peak-time hire charges for the artificial pitch at Henwick Worthy Sports Ground; and
• ceasing to provide adult respite in the community services directly, but commissioning them from external providers
